Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster as well as filmmaker of documentary films. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 in Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist, sportscaster and actor. She graduated from University of California with a diploma in communications and sociology. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she took part in a number of pro-am events. Sun was sponsored by major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition she got through this was a slingshot that launched her into the entertainment business. Sun, in the future, went on to become an actress, sportscaster investigative journalist and film director. Sun has been a reporter for several news outlets, but mostly as anchor. She was a reporter in 2003 as reporter on Fox Sports Net. In 2012, she hosted American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute for the season 2014. Sun is the first Asian American person to appear as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun's acting abilities have gained her the attention of her peers. Sun has appeared in films like Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary about the negative effects of plastic pollution on the oceans. She created, wrote and directed the film herself.
