Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on the 1st of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where, with three other students, he created his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. There was always an interest in music. However, he always wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. At one point, he worked for a short time in a baker's shop in the city he lived in with the aim of helping people financially in the home. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. For that reason his band was forced to break up. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be part of the group that was to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart throughout the competition. It led them to becoming one of the leading contenders. They were however in third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. While Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell made a payment of 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco music label.
